ECONICHE HOUSE IN-THE-GATINEAU, located 20 minutes from Ottawa/Hull, is a splendid locale for a wedding - spring, summer, fall or winter. Our unique concept of a "whole weekend" wedding celebration blends well with real cost savings. As a residential facility, we offer our package to couples who are planning to have twenty five guests or more staying over for Friday and Saturday nights.

With our "whole weekend" package, the couple invites their guests to arrive Friday night after dinner, meet each other for the first time or renew old acquaintances around the fireplace, and enjoy the hospitality of Econiche House. A dip in the pool in summer, or in the hot tubs in winter or a quiet evening watching the sunset, sitting by the fire in one of our several lounge areas sets the mood. A full breakfast is served Saturday morning, as is a lunch at mid-day, leading up to the ceremony (here or elsewhere) and reception and dinner, with dancing if desired. The married couple can retire to the V.I.P. suite, furnished with 1870's mahogany Canadiana furniture, enjoy a jaccuzzi and their own privacy. No problems having to hurry away or with drinking and driving as guests settle in cozily until Sunday brunch before winding their way home.
